Ethan: A Young Cyclist We're Proud to Support
Ethan, a young cyclist whose passion for the sport began at an early age, has rapidly grown into a formidable competitor in youth cycling. As part of our commitment to nurturing young talent, we’re incredibly proud to support Ethan on his remarkable journey.
We are incredibly proud that Ethan is supported by Trek Shrewsbury. We especially appreciate Trek because of their environmental commitments and the positive actions they take, supporting the local cycling community and infrastructure.
Ethan rides exclusively Trek Bikes for cyclocross, road, and mountain biking.
His cyclocross bike is a Trek Crockett.
His road bike — the one on which he achieved a stage result at the Tour of Assen last year — is a Trek Émonda.
His mountain bike is a Trek Excalibur 9, and very soon he will be switching to a Trek Procaliber (Christmas is coming!).
A huge thank-you to our friends at Trek Shrewsbury! If you’re looking for a new bike — whether it’s a race-winning machine, or a fantastic bike for your commute to school, work, or your next adventure — visit Pete and his team at Trek Shrewsbury for the best bikes at the best price!

Sponsored Riders - Sundorne Racing School
The Friendly Bike Mechanic is proud to sponsor the Sundorne Racing School, a renowned training hub for some of the fastest young talents in North Wales, the North West, the Midlands, and Mid Wales. Located at the Shrewsbury Sports Village, the school was established by Ioan Said, former Manager of Team Wales at the School Games Final for Welsh Cycling, and Ryan Morley, the head coach.
Our partnership with Sundorn Racing School signifies our commitment to nurturing young, elite racers. During every school holiday, these dedicated athletes come together, transcending team boundaries to form a single, supportive family. This unique environment allows them to challenge and encourage one another, fostering both individual and collective growth.
At The Friendly Bike Mechanic, we are thrilled to support these rising stars by providing Challenge Tires to the Racing School at a discounted rate. Our sponsorship reflects our dedication to the sport and our belief in the potential of these young racers.
